To continue the advocacy for social, economic and environmental justice for the Ogoni People of the Niger Delta of Nigeria in West Africa, in the room of our martyred forebears and to return and situate the Ogoni People in their ‘new little paradise’ that could be proudly bequeathed to the next generation.

Our Mission.
OYF is courageously advocating and defending the Ogoni environment and territory against all forms of degradation and sabotage for the enhancement of sustainable socio-economic activities in Ogoniland with respect to the cultural heritage, values and rights of Ogoni people and preserve hope for a better future through the development of a robust human capital and domestication of new ideas and technologies for the benefit of our people for a better Ogoniland, while inspiring the next generation.

Administration.
Ogoni Youth Federation is headed by the President-General (Comrade Legborsi Yamaabana), supported by the National Executive Council, and the 4-Ogoni Local Government Area Coordinators of Eleme, Gokana, Khana and Tai, and 56 Ward Heads, cutting across Babbe, Eleme, Gokana, Ken- Khana, Nyokhana and Tai Kingdoms, together with the Bori Capital Territory and Ban Ogoi Special Area of Ogoniland and the diaspora. There is an Advisory Council and the final arbiter and GRAND PATRON is HRM, King G.N.K. Gininwa, OFR – Gbene Mene Tai Kingdom, Chairman, Ogoni Supreme Council of Traditional Rulers, Former Chairman Rivers State Council of Traditional Rulers
