The Ogoni Youth Federation (OYF) Worldwide has kicked off electronic registration of Ogoni youths.
The President-General of OYF, Comrade Legborsi Yamaabana, whilst nothing that Ogoni young professionals have missed numerous employment opportunities due to lack of digital database, urged youths and young professionals across Khana, Gokana, Tai and Eleme local government areas to take advantage of this innovation . He added that the ongoing e-registration would provide a vibrant database, detailing levels of skilled and semi-skill professionals from Ogoni and prepare them for the opportunities ahead.
Comrade Legborsi described the e-registration as a bargaining chip that would enable OYF to easily tender details of Ogoni Youths that fit any value-delivery role expected within and outside Ogoni.
He urged companies operating in Ogoniland to be ready to comply with local content laws.
