The Ogoni Youth Federation (OYF) after due consultation with critical stakeholders has inaugurated a 9-man committee to coordinate the activities of the forthcoming Extraordinary Ogoni Youth Summit. Members of the committee are drawn from the six kingdoms in Ogoni Nation.
Speaking during the inauguration of the committee, the President-General of Ogoni Youth Federation Comrade Yamaabana Legborsi charged the committee members to amongst other things ensure that they consult and invite all community youth based organizations and critical youth stakeholders, in all communities in Ogoniland to the summit.
The chairman of the Committee, Comrade Mesua Ntormabari in his acceptance speech thanked Ogoni youths for finding him and other members of the committee worthy of the task and promised to do all things necessary and incidental to the actualization of the duties conferred on the committee.
